To me Cambodia almost has it all.

Ancient temples among which 12th-century Angkor Wat certainly causes to drop the jaw of the most experienced travellers, unspoiled by commercialism sandy coastline, colonial French buildings and Mekong river running along colourful small villages. If you are interested in recent history, you can learn a lot about Cambodia's painful past of unthinkable murders committed by the Khmer Rouge in its capital, Phnom Penh.

Cambodian are nice and very talkative people, proud of their heritage and happy to share all the stories about their country. It’s a real pleasure to talk to them and they do make you feel welcomed everywhere you go.

Food is beautiful, mixture of Asian and French cooking concept and is also one of Cambodian pride.

The biggest challenge for me is the Cambodian weather, almost unbearable heat during dry season and severe humidity during rainy season.

Best time to visit is November through February, at the coastline towns though it will be December to April. Here are few shots from our last visit.
